Dr. Jiawei Zhou

Jiawei (Joe) Zhou obtained his Ph.D. in 2023 from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Harvard University, under the supervision of Alexander (Sasha) Rush. He holds an M.A. degree in Statistics from Harvard University, and a B.S. degree in EE from Tsinghua University.

His research focuses on natural language processing and related machine learning problems. He is broadly interested in applying data-driven approaches to better understand and generate language, including but not limited to natural text, reasoning, semantics, code, etc., as well as other data in sequential or graph formats arising from different applications.
